About the Artist
Growing up in a family of artists, Sheila’s early interest and obvious natural ability was encouraged.
After earning a BFA from Massachusetts College of Art And Design, she began as a commercial artist, subsequently embarking on a 40 year career as an art educator. After retirement, Clough concentrated her efforts on painting and began to exhibit her work in several Southern Maine galleries. She is a juried member of The Art Guild Of The Kennebunks, New Hampshire Art Association and exhibits with Maine Women in The Arts.
